Common Uses
Uses an X-ray to create detailed 3D or 4D images of organs, soft tissue, bones and anatomy. Often used for imaging/evaluating:
- Emergency conditions like head trauma from an accident, internal bleeding, stroke symptoms, chest pain, heart attack symptoms and appendicitis
- Other serious conditions including heart disease, blocked arteries, cancer/tumors, diverticulitis, abdomen pain and kidney stones
- Orthopedic imaging of spine, neck and moving joints

- Not recommended for pregnant women
