Participants will perform cardiac CT scanning and interpretation under the direction of a qualified physician-mentor. Course offers 40 CME hours of didactic studies that include advanced lectures, reading materials, formal cases presentations and active use of workstations. Coursework also includes basic cardiac anatomy, cardiac CT image review and a workflow overview. All participants will be assigned their own workstations.
Participants will interpret 200 case studies, then take an extensive online electronic CT exam. After completing the course and the exam, participants will receive a certificate of clinical competence in cardiac computed tomography. Participants are also eligible for CME accredited by the University of California.
