Course Description

Georgia Radiology Research and Educational Network in Atlanta, GA, is proud to offer this Level I and II Accreditation course in conjunction with Toshiba Medical Systems and Vital Images Inc. Our blended, creative program includes didactic orientation, extensive hands-on post-processing experience, case presentations, self-tests, "homework" and protocol design. The Course offers 39 category I CME credits.

Each participant will be assigned his/her own workstation (1 student per workstation) for the entire course. Over 150 mentored/post-processed cases are "hand-picked" for a consummate, robust learning experience that includes:

  • CT Cardiac and Coronary Artery Anatomy
  • Coronary Artery Disease — Characterization/Description/Quantification
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Evaluation
  • Stent Assessment
  • Artifact Recognition/Description
  • Congenital Anomalies
  • Valve Morphology
  • Aortic Disease
  • Non-Cardiac Thoracic Anatomy and Disease

The Georgia Radiology Research and Educational Network has been teaching advanced cardiovascular-CT courses for over 3 years. Over 400 students have been trained to date.

All classes are held in our state-of-the-art teaching center in a private practice setting. Class sizes are limited to 12 students, by design, to allow for optimal student-instructor interaction.
