TOSHIBA NAMES VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

Aaron Hudy Charged with Driving Corporate Sales Growth

TUSTIN, Calif., July 18, 2006 – Bolstering the company's strong growth trend in the diagnostic imaging industry, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. today announced that it has named Aaron Hudy as vice president of sales and newest member of the executive team.

"Aaron Hudy's proven sales experience and extensive knowledge of both Toshiba and the industry will make him a valuable contributor to the strategic direction of the company," said Larry Dentice, general manager and senior vice president, Toshiba.

Since joining Toshiba in 2002, Hudy has emerged as a top sales performer and has been responsible for better than budgeted results in the company's central east zone. In his new role as the vice president of sales, Hudy will oversee field sales, strategic accounts and the company's dealer and distributor organizations. Prior to joining Toshiba, Hudy served as a zone sales manager and finance specialist for Marconi Medical Systems.
